The EPIA 2024 conference, dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, has revealed the winners of its prestigious awards for the best work presented at the event. The results highlight the innovation and impact of research in the field across various domains.
- BEST PAPER AWARD: The Best Paper Award was given to Larkin Liu for the work titled “Approximate Nash Equilibrium Learning for n-Player Markov Games in Dynamic Pricing.”
- BEST APPLICATION PAPER AWARD: The Best Application Paper Award was awarded to a team of researchers led by Pablo Gamallo for the paper “A Galician-Portuguese Generative Model.” The team includes Pablo RodrÃguez, Daniel Santos, Susana Sotelo, Nuno Miquelina, Silvia Paniagua, Daniela Schmidt, Iria de-Dios-Flores, Paulo Quaresma, Daniel Bardanca, José Ramom Pichel, VÃtor Nogueira, and Senén Barro.
- BEST STUDENT POSTER AWARD: Dylan Perdigão won the Best Student Poster Award for his work titled “Bayesian Causal Inference in Deep Spiking Neural Networks.”
- BEST PhD THESIS AWARD 2023: The Best PhD Thesis Award was given to Miguel Serras Vasco for his thesis titled “Multimodal Representation Learning for Agent Perception and Action.”
